Chrono Trigger was originally released for the Super Famicon and then ported for the Super NES everywhere else. One of (if not the first) the first RPG's to not have a battle screen or random enemy encounters (well, technically they were "random" but they happen in the same place no matter how many times you play it). It also began the Double/Triple Tech's where two/three team members contribute to one massive tech. It also had the "New Game +" option, which is really cool. When you play the New Game +, you can access all the "hidden" endings, each one tells a different story. We'll try to get more information on this soon. |
